Events

The choir has been invited to perform in a wide variety of situations, from churches and concert halls, major charity concerts and fundraisers to large civic events. Most recently we performed in 2022 at the Bridgewater Hall with the world famous Black Dyke Band and the prestigious Rossendale Scout Band, to once again raise many thousands of pounds for the East Lancashire Hospice.

Fees
The cost of booking the choir for your concert is £400 which is reduced to £300 where the concert is to support a Charity or Church. The only additional expenses you may incur will be for travel or any additional performers that you request for your concert.

Travel expenses will only be added if the venue is 35 miles or more from St Peter’s Church in Haslingden,where we rehearse. We would then hire a coach and add the costs to our fee.

For some concerts we are asked if we can provide additional performers and these range from instrumental soloists, numerous brass bands and choirs. Should you wish to explore the idea of additional performers, our Concert Secretary can offer his advice and expertise and work out a solution for your concert

We will of course, attempt to agree to sing with any band or group that you would like to invite to join us in your concert, from your local community, if that is your preference.

Once you have booked us for your concert, some three months prior to the concert, the Concert Secretary will send you a letter containing the following paragraph.

The fee for this request is £XXX, which includes a non-refundable deposit of £100. This deposit is payable no later than 3 months prior to the concert date, with the full balance due on the day of our performance.

Only when that deposit is received by us can you regard the concert as secure.

These then are our arrangements for your concert. All other special events will be charged on an individual basis following discussion with the Concert Secretary. 

Diary
The choir is typically booked well in advance, with several months often by way of notice. However, please contact us if this may be an issue, and we would be happy to discuss optional dates.

We hope that this collection of materials will meet all your publicity needs but should you wish to use any additional items about the choir these must be checked and agreed by the Concert Secretary before publication.
